Turtles

There are semi-presious stones as the body of each piece, or shells from  Maui or other beach communities-some I  have personally collected while there for many years... no coral reefs have been destroyed to retrieve them. I have polished them to give them some shine.
       Each Turtle(Honu) is made from leather, printed from my original watercolor, and stitched with high quality mostly Delica beads.Each piece has a pearl "egg" which becomes a prayer for more turtles since they are endangered.... that prayer goes out into the world when you wear it. I am also donating 10% of sales of ALL TURTLE products to organizations that help turtles.
